On Friday morning, Tucson Police responded to the intersection of Glenn and Stone for a pedestrian accident.

A 50 year-old woman was crossing the street and was struck by a black Ford Mustang.

She was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries, but is expected to survive.

The driver of the mustang is cooperating with authorities and will not be cited in this accident.

Alcohol on the pedestrian is a factor in this case.
