Two men dressed in black robbed an armored car guard Wednesday outside a Gilbert Bank of America.

Witnesses said it appeared the men were waiting for the Loomis armored car to arrive. Witnesses said the armed men jumped out of a pickup as the guard carrying a bag approached the armored car. The robbers yelled at the guard to give up the cash. The guard did and the robbers escaped.

Gilbert police would only confirm that a robbery occurred. The FBI did not return calls for comment.
