TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Pima County sheriff's deputies are investigating the drowning of an elderly woman.

The 67-year-old victim was discovered early Thursday morning in the pool of a town home complex.

The Northwest Fire Department and Pima County Sheriff's Department responded to the complex around 3:00 a.m. after getting a 911 call.

A preliminary investigation revealed no signs of foul play or a medical history that would have caused her to drown. The investigation is ongoing.

The Northwest Fire Department says the woman was not from Tucson and was in town visiting her sister.
