Pima County announces more H1N1 clinics

TUCSON, AZ -  The Health Department will be holding an H1N1 clinic tomorrow, Saturday November 7, 2009 at Tucson Electric Park, 2500 E. Ajo, the hours of the clinic are 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. and there is an adequate supply of both injectable and nasal spray for the target population of pregnant women, children 6 months to 24 years of age, caregivers of children under 6 months of age and health care workers.

 The nasal spray vaccine will be available to:

  • healthy children and young adults 2 years to 24 years of age
  • health care workers and people less than 50 years old who care for infants less than 6 months of age who are healthy

The injectable vaccine will be available for:

  • pregnant women
  • infants 6 months through age 24 years
  • health care workers and people less than 50 years old who care for infants less than 6 months of age

At the present time we are planning to hold clinics next week, on:

  • Tuesday, November 10th at Tucson Electric Park, 2500 E. Ajo, from 1 P.M. - 7 P.M.
  • Thursday, November 12th at Tucson Electric Park, 2500 E. Ajo, from 1 P.M. - 7 P.M.

Remember to wear sunscreen and hats and be prepared for a possible wait in line.

Please keep in mind that all planned clinics are subject to vaccine availability.
