New York Yankees Win the 2009 World Series!

New York Yankees Win the 2009 World Series scoring 7 to 3 over the Philadelphia Phillies.

The win in game 6 of the series brings the Yankees their 27th championship, the first for the team since 2000.

This is also the first year in the new $1.5 million dollar Yankee Stadium.
