Former Tucson Manager Lands Job in Pima County

Former Tucson City Manager, Mike Hein will now head up the the Pima County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security.

Hein beat out six other finalists for the job after a three-member panel recommended Hein to County Administrator, Chuck Huckelberry.

Hein was fired from his position as city manager last April after the City Council voted 4-3 to fire him.

Hein will begin his new job Monday and will be make $110,000 a year.
