The Sunnyside Foundation announced Fall 2009 Excellence in Education Mini Grants for academic and extracurricular programs in the Sunnyside Unified School District.

"Funding almost doubled since 2008 thanks to the generosity of our many donors. We will continue to seek financial support for those projects that didn't get funded. There simply wasn't enough for every worthwhile project," said Taunya Villicaña, President of the Board, Sunnyside Foundation.

Funding is made available by individual, corporate and foundation donors.

The Sunnyside Foundation is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to funding enhanced educational opportunities for children in the Sunnyside Unified School District.
