FORT HUACHUCA, Ariz. (AP) - Fort Huachuca is scheduled to conduct a force protection exercise Wednesday.
The Army said that as force protection conditions and anti-terrorism measures are ramped up, various organizations on and off the installation will be involved and tested.
Fort visitors may experience some delays Wednesday as the military increases force protection measures.
Visitors should be prepared to present identification, proof of insurance and vehicle registration.
Fort Huachuca officials said the military installation periodically tests force protection conditions and anti-terrorism measures to ensure base personnel are trained and ready to respond in the event of an actual emergency.
