The Pinal County Sheriff's Office received a grant for $3,700 Monday from the Monsanto Fund and Eloy's Delta Pine, allowing for the purchase of patrol equipment.

Corporal George Flores with the Sheriff's Office applied for the grant which will allow deputies in the Eloy and Casa Grande areas to be equipped with patrol equipment to aid them in their duties.

Medical trauma kits are being purchased through the grant, allowing Deputies to provide better service in medical emergencies to the communities they serve.
