On Sunday night, Douglas Police responded to a fight in progress with possible shots fired at 650 15th St. (Douglas, AZ).
When police arrived on scene, they found a 61-year-old man who had been shot in the abdomen during the fight.
The victim was transported by helicopter to University Medical Center for treatment of his wound.
Douglas Police are currently investigating the shooting and believe it may be gang related.
Detectives have developed leads in the case and are actively pursing the investigation.
The victim is currently in stable condition at the University Medical Center.
