Chandler Couple Arrested for Child Abuse

Detectives were called to investigate a couple unable to give an explanation of their 2-year-old son's spiral fracture to his left femur.

Chandler residents, Amanda L. Corwin, 22, and Matthew J. Lallemand, 32, were arrested on Oct. 15, for 2 counts of child neglect, for furnishing harmful material to a minor and for possession of marijuana, dangerous drugs, and drug paraphernalia.

Detectives obtained a search warrant, and found adult pornography, marijuana and methamphetamines in plain view for the children to access.

Corwin and Lallemand have been booked into Maricopa County Jail, and the two-year-old son and one-year-old daughter have been put in protective custody.
