Propsition 202, which passed in 2002, will allow the Tohono O'odham tribe to share a portion of their gaming revenue with government agencies.  The Drexel Heights Fire District benefitted by recieving $110,000 in funds to purchase a Paramedic Transport Ambulance. The new ambulance will be housed at Fire Station 403 on Cardinal Avenue and Mossman Road.  This location is near the San Xavier District of the Tohono O'odham Nation.  Both agencies have a great working relationship with an automatic aid agreement for fire and emergency medical response.
