PICACHO PEAK, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a Texas woman driving a tractor-trailer was killed and her passenger husband injured Friday when the big rig carrying hazardous materials rolled over and burst into flames on an Arizona highway.

Officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety say the rig owned by Saia Trucking was traveling from Blythe, Calif., to El Paso, Texas, and was hauling two trailers of automotive and cleaning products that included aerosol cans.

The accident occurred around 9 a.m. MST near Picacho (pih-KAH'-cho) Peak on Interstate 10, which is the main route between Phoenix and Tucson. The highway was closed to traffic for more than four hours.

DPS officials identified the driver as 50-year-old Shari Wood Linder of Quinlan, Texas. They say she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The DPS says 53-year-old Ricky Keith Linder was listed in stable condition at University Medical Center in Tucson with non life-threatening injuries.
