The ADOT State Transportation Board will meet in Cottonwood this Friday and is expected to approve up to 9 highway projects, 2 of which are in Pima County.

The board, barring any surprises, will approve repaving I-10, between Rita and Houghton and the reworking of SR 86 (Ajo) near the Santa Cruz River.

These 2 projects are the first state road projects in Pima Co. to use ARRA (stimulus) funding to complete the work.
