FOREST LAKES, Ariz. (AP) - The body of a Chandler planning commissioner missing since January has been found 12 miles northwest of his second home in Forest Lakes in northern Arizona.

Coconino County authorities said Monday that human remains found Saturday by people who were fishing along Chevelon Canyon Lake are that of 51-year-old Mark Russell Irby.

Irby was last seen Jan. 2 when he left his Forest Lakes cabin for a ride on his all-terrain vehicle. He was the subject of an extensive search.

Irby's identity was made through dental records. The Coconino County medical examiner has not yet determined how he died.

Irby's body was found about 12 miles northwest of his cabin.

Forest Lakes is in a mountainous area replete with pine trees east of Payson.
