Propane leak prompts brief road closure on NW side

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Emergency crews responded to a propane tank leaking at Tucson Asphalt near La Cholla & Curtis on Tucson's north-west Side.
Firefighters with the Northwest Fire District responded just before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Crews found a 500 gallon propane tank leaking.
Hazardous Material crews transferred the remaining propane to another tank then allowed the tanks owner, Servi-gas, to remove it for repairs.
Tha tank is used to refill equipment used in the asphalt application process.
