Border Patrol agents stay busy in the Yuma Sector

YUMA, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Agents with the U.S. Border Patrol seized 244 pounds of pot and arrested a suspect involved in a stabbing.
On Monday, agents responded east of the San Luis Port of Entry after being tipped off by the Air & Marine Operations Center of a possibly ultralight incursion.
Authorities found 14 bundles of marijuana in a field. Agents estimate the street value of the pot at $122,000.
Early Tuesday morning agents with the Blythe Station assisted the Riverside County Sheriff's Office in looking for a 20 year-old woman who stabbed another individual. Agents tracked her and found her hiding behind a tree stump. The woman was turned over to deputies with the RCSO.
