Health care law allows for free birth control
Web Producer: Brian Pryor
WASHINGTON (AP) - President Obama's health care reform law forces insurance companies to provide birth control as preventative care, with no copays.
The provision takes effect in January of 2013 and will apply to most employer based health plans and individual plans.
Costs for the new coverage will be spread among people with health insurance resulting in higher premiums.
