Police asking for help in locating missing man

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Police are asking for the help of the public in locating a man that has been missing since early Wednesday morning.
Abelardo Ruiz, 81, was last seen by a family member at approximately 12:30 a.m. near his home in the 200 block of East 23rd Street.
Ruiz is described as 5’5” tall and approximately 125 pounds, grey hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red and multi-colored flannel shirt, jeans, brown slip-on shoes, and wire-rimmed eyeglasses. He has a tattoo of “Rosa” on his upper right arm. He suffers from Alzheimer’s, but is otherwise physically healthy.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
