Netflix increases monthly rate
Customers are upset over the price hike.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Netflix announced Tuesday the rates for membership will increase by 60 percent. Thousands of customers took to social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook to complain about the increase.
Company officials anticipated the reaction but with more than 22 million subscribers, many customers have not spoken out in support or against the rate change.
